Nick and Kelly's wedding was upbeat and energetic right from the start. Their friends told me from the beginning of the day that they'd be throwing down on the dancefloor and they didn't disappoint! Overlook Barn was the perfect match for the couple's dreams of a champagne and pink bohemian wedding in the mountains.
From Kelly:
"Nick and I met when we were 15. I was the manager of the wrestling team that he was on and we became great friends, to the chagrin of our significant others at the time. We finally made it official freshman year of college and have been together ever since! We have backpacked Thailand together, skydived, got scuba certified, driven cross country, and had a million more adventures packed into the last 8 years.
Nick proposed by waking me up on my 26th birthday to show me a video of a private villa resort in the Maldives that he had booked us as a surprise birthday trip. We flew out a few months later and on our first night in the champagne pavilion, he proposed during sunset in the most beautiful place on earth. The entire experience was pretty breathtaking.
My advice to other brides is to include your mother-in-law in your dress appointments. Especially if she doesn't have any daughters!"
